24+ years of experience in the conventional and Takaful (re)insurance
markets: direct and reinsurance, captives, alternative risk transfer (ART),
broking, risk management, asset management and investments. Managed
multimillion-dollar portfolios and offices across multiple countries. Extensive
experience in reviewing, drafting, managing and maintaining a comprehensive
set of legal agreements covering close to US$250m in business specifically in
relation to Arbitration provisions. Successfully mediated a multi-million US$
marine construction claim leading to an amicable settlement involving
companies in Bahrain, London and Germany
